Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared a photo of an Albanian family posing with their ballot envelope for the May 11 elections, emphasizing the importance of diaspora votes.
Rama stated that he would “reward” diaspora voters with Albania’s membership in the European Union.
“How touching and at the same time inspiring this very symbolic photo of an Albanian family from Europe is, for our common effort for Albania 2030,” Rama wrote.
“Thank you with gratitude,” Rama continued, “and may I reward you with the European passport of Albania and with a dignified Albania in the European Union, which for the little boy and his peers will never again be a country of second-class residents of Europe.”
