A Piepoli poll, conducted in partnership with Report TV, projects the Socialist Party (PS) to win Albania’s May elections.
The poll forecasts the PS to secure 46.5% to 50.5% of the vote, similar to its 2021 result (48.7%).
The PD-led coalition is projected to come second, with 35% to 39% of the vote, slightly below its 2021 result (39.4%). Opposition fragmentation is cited as a factor in its performance.
The “Albania Becomes Initiative” coalition is projected to receive 7-9% of votes. Agron Shehaj’s “Opportunity Party” is projected at 2.5-4.4%.
Tom Doshi’s Social Democratic Party is projected to gain 0.5-2.5% of the vote. Smaller parties are projected to receive between 0.5% and 2.5%.
