Romania’s Constitutional Court has upheld a ban on far-right, pro-Russian politician Calin Georgescu’s candidacy in May’s presidential rerun. The ruling is final.

The election rerun was ordered after November’s vote was annulled over alleged Russian interference—claims Moscow denies.
US Vice President JD Vance called the annulment undemocratic, while Elon Musk slammed the ban as “crazy.”
