Albania is set to become a tech powerhouse with the region’s largest digital data hub, thanks to a major investment deal signed in Tirana.
Israeli company H.A.P.I Advanced Technologies LTD has teamed up with TEDA Tiranë, the capital’s Free Economic Zone, to develop a high-tech digital data bank, expected to be a game-changer for the industry.
Prime Minister Edi Rama called the investment “strategic”, stressing its impact on AI development and state administration. The €multi-million project will be completed within 18 months after securing a development permit.
“This isn’t about cheap labor; it’s about quality talent. Young professionals will have top-paying jobs in Tirana,” Rama declared.
The investment will make Albania a tech hub for global firms, offering cutting-edge solutions in AI, innovation, and advanced technology.
