A Delta Airlines jet flipped onto its roof while landing at Toronto Pearson Airport, leaving at least eight injured in a terrifying runway drama.
The Bombardier CR900 was arriving from Minneapolis when it skidded out of control on the icy tarmac, coming to a rest upside down.
Dramatic footage from the scene shows shaken passengers clambering out of the overturned aircraft and walking across the frozen runway.
Toronto Pearson Airport confirmed the horror crash, saying emergency teams responded immediately.
“The airport is aware of an incident involving a Delta Airlines aircraft that had departed from Minneapolis,” a spokesperson said.
Investigations are underway to determine what caused the nightmare landing.
