Albania is putting itself on the map as a year-round travel destination with the launch of the Tourism and Travel Show Albania 2025 in Tirana.
The major tourism fair, held at the Palace of Congresses, has drawn officials, business leaders, and travel agencies from across the region.
Deputy Minister of Tourism Ilva Gjuzi Daci called Albania a multidimensional destination, aiming to attract visitors not just to its famous coastline but also to its mountains, valleys, and villages.
“We have so much that sets us apart from our neighbours,” she said, pushing for Albania to be included in regional travel packages.
Zana Çela, head of Albania’s National Tourism Agency, emphasised the importance of innovation in an increasingly competitive market.
“We must stay creative and adapt to new trends,” she said, vowing to boost promotion efforts and ensure Albania’s tourism policies keep up with industry demands.
The fair, running February 12-13, brings together travel companies, tourism organisations, and officials to showcase Albania’s growing tourism potential and regional partnerships.
Backed by the Ministry of Tourism, the event aims to position Albania as a top travel spot – not just for summer, but all year round.
