Sali Berisha gathered thousands of supporters in Tirana, vowing to defeat Prime Minister Edi Rama in May’s elections.
Speaking outside the government HQ, the opposition leader accused Rama’s government of failing Albanians, promising lower taxes, higher wages, and better pensions if his party wins.
Berisha was joined by Republican leader Fatmir Mediu and Agrarian Party chief Agron Duka, who both criticized the Socialist government. Mediu slammed the justice system as biased, while Duka said Rama’s time in office should end.
With the vote just months away, Berisha called for unity, urging even Socialist supporters to back change.
