Albania and Serbia have been confirmed as co-hosts of the 2027 UEFA Under-21 European Championship, a significant step forward for both nations in international football.
Prime Minister Edi Rama took to social media to announce the news, sharing a message from Andi Lila, Albania’s ambassador for the tournament. Lila called the selection a “great achievement” for the country.
The tournament will take place in June 2027, with Albania hosting the final at the Air Albania Stadium in the capital, Tirana. Rama celebrated the announcement, emphasizing the importance of the event for Albania’s growing football stature.
