Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti has caused a stir by saying his country is doing well while Germany is heading into a recession.
“Kosovo is blooming, and sadly, Germany is on the brink of recession,” he told a crowd at a campaign rally.
Kurti also said Kosovo’s large community in Germany will soon return home as Kosovo’s economy grows stronger.
This statement comes as Kosovo heads to general elections on Sunday.
