The Democratic Party of Albania is organising a protest in Shkodër today in response to a tragic incident that claimed the lives of three individuals, including a bystander. The demonstration will commence at the square in front of the Shkodër municipality and will make its way towards the city centre.
Sali Berisha, chairman of the Democratic Party, has called on citizens to participate in the march in solidarity with the victims and their families. “Tomorrow, citizens from all over Albania will march at 12:00 PM in solidarity with Shkodër. I invite every citizen to join us, as Flutura Basha could be any one of us,” he remarked in a speech delivered the night prior.
This protest follows a violent episode that has deeply unsettled the local community and raised pressing concerns about public safety across the country.
