Oct 18, 2024 – Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama continues to enjoy strong public support, with 46% of Albanians backing his leadership, according to a new survey by Euronews Albania and MRB Datacentrum. While Rama’s approval remains high, the political landscape in the country is far from unified.
Sali Berisha, the leader of the opposition Democratic Party (PD), holds 29% of the public’s support, but the figures show a clear divide. Lulzim Basha, a former leader of the PD, lags behind with just 14%, while Ilir Meta, chairman of the Freedom Party (PL), garners a modest 10%.
In the realm of smaller political movements, Adriatik Lapaj holds the highest approval, with 46%. Agron Shehaj follows with 42%, while Arlind Qori and Endri Shabani see lower numbers, with 31% and 24% support, respectively. These figures reflect a growing presence for smaller political figures, signaling potential shifts in Albania’s political future.
