Serbia’s new Prime Minister, Djuro Matsut, presented his government program, outlining a focus on Kosovo.
Matsut pledged to “protect sovereignty and territorial integrity” in Kosovo, continuing a long-standing Serbian position. He vowed to support Kosovo Serbs financially and politically.
He accused the West of exploiting Serbia’s internal issues to advance Kosovo’s agenda.
Matsut spoke of a multi-front “fight” to protect Serbs, including support for the Serb List party in Kosovo. He claimed Pristina pursues unilateral violence.
He hinted at potential action pending shifts in global power centers. Matsut stressed that peace requires justice but stated his willingness for open dialogue.
