
A recent poll conducted by McLaughlin & Associates in collaboration with Top Channel indicates that while public perception of Prime Minister Edi Rama remains generally positive, a significant portion of citizens hold negative views.
According to the figures broadcast on Top Story, 53.3% of respondents approve of Rama, with 30.9% expressing strong approval and 22.4% somewhat approving. Conversely, 44% disapprove, with 28.6% strongly disapproving and 15.4% somewhat disapproving.
The poll also suggests that if parliamentary elections were held today, the Socialist Party (PS) would win with 49.2% of the vote, while the Democratic Party (PD) would secure 35.7%. Other parties received significantly lower percentages.
Rama leads in popularity among political figures with 53.3%, followed by Sali Berisha at 39.1%. Ilir Meta and Lulzim Basha have low approval ratings and high disapproval rates. Adriatik Lapaj and Agron Shehaj have relatively higher approval ratings.
Regarding the country’s direction, 61% of respondents believe Albania is moving in a positive direction, while 70.6% hold a negative view of the government’s performance.
