
Prime Minister Edi Rama today declared the revival of the military industry in Gramsh, forecasting the creation of numerous well-compensated employment opportunities.
Addressing Socialist Party members in Gramsh, PM Rama underscored the revitalization of the defense sector as a vital step towards Albania’s 2030 objectives. He emphasized Gramsh’s historical significance and potential in this domain, assuring residents of continued progress.
“We are engaged in discussions with various companies for several locations across Albania. Gramsh stands out as a key area where we intend to attract a major firm to commence production and provide high-quality jobs, a goal we aim to achieve in the near future,” PM Rama stated.
The Prime Minister acknowledged Gramsh’s latent potential despite the budgetary constraints of the local municipality. He also highlighted the positive impact of recent infrastructure developments, noting, “The historical isolation of Gramsh has been overcome with the new road, establishing rapid connectivity. Consequently, the natural beauty of this entire region is now being discovered by many.”
PM Rama affirmed the government’s dedication to fostering investment in the area’s tourism and agritourism sectors through the improvement of road networks and the promotion of Gramsh’s exceptional natural attractions.
