
Kosovo Police, in cooperation with Europol, have dismantled a laboratory producing counterfeit documents and arrested one suspect.
The Economic Crimes Investigation Sector discovered and seized a large quantity of blank documents from various countries and equipment used for forgery.
The investigation began in January when police in Pristina stopped a vehicle driven by F.K., uncovering a significant number of blank documents.
Further investigation that day led to a house in the Veternik neighborhood of Pristina, where a laboratory equipped with laser machines, printers, and other forgery equipment was found, along with blank documents with covers from various European and global states.
Intensive investigations continued with international partners, including Europol.
Today, another suspect, SH.E., was interviewed and detained for 48 hours by order of the Special Prosecution (PSRK).
