The fourth Albania-EU Intergovernmental Conference will be held in Luxembourg on April 14.
This meeting will open negotiations with Albania on cluster 2 (Internal Market), which includes chapters related to free movement, company law, and consumer protection.
Albania opened cluster 1 (“Fundamentals”) in October 2024 and cluster 6 (external relations, security, and defense) in December 2024.
EU foreign ministers will also discuss accelerating enlargement with Western Balkan states.
