Former Albanian Prime Minister and Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha hit out at the Rama government after appearing at the Special Prosecution (SPAK) to comply with a court order.
Berisha, accused of corruption, blasted the justice system as politically influenced, calling SPAK a “puppet of Rama and Soros.” He vowed to end what he calls a “political prosecution” by securing victory in the May 11 elections.
“The battle for free elections is the most important one,” he declared, doubling down on his accusations that government officials are behind electoral fraud.
Berisha even claimed he left a written message for prosecutors, calling them “mercenaries of Rama’s regime.”
