The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has questioned Albania over the case of Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha.
The ECHR has sent questions to Albanian authorities regarding alleged human rights violations during proceedings against Berisha.
Concerns reportedly focus on the effectiveness of legal representation and the execution of a court decision in October 2023.
The ECHR is examining whether Berisha’s rights were violated during court hearings and the implementation of measures against him.
