Opposition leader Sali Berisha has called on Albanians abroad to flood the country with votes and end Edi Rama’s rule—declaring May 11 “judgment day” for the government.
Speaking in Naples, the former PM told supporters the diaspora would “save Albania” from censorship, poverty, and corruption.
“Prepare to come by land, air, and sea—May 11 is your day, his end,” Berisha said, warning Rama to “expect a flood.”
He promised five years with zero taxes for diaspora investors and vowed to scrap every barrier blocking Albanian success. “We’ll offer the best business climate in Europe—10% flat tax, cheap energy, and no red tape.”
Berisha also pledged to kick out George Soros, calling him a “bad seed” that must be removed. “No more foreign manipulation. Albania will stand on its own.”
His platform—Great Albania—was written during 333 days under house arrest. “This is the boldest project Albania has ever seen,” he said. “And it starts by lifting every Albanian out of poverty.”
