Britain is set to host the Berlin Process Summit this autumn, bringing together leaders from the Western Balkans to boost ties and tackle shared challenges.
The high-level meeting will see Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia come to London as the UK ramps up its engagement in the region.
Dame Karen Pierce, one of Britain’s most seasoned diplomats, has been named the UK’s special envoy to the Western Balkans. Her mission? Strengthen partnerships, bolster European security, and get to grips with irregular migration.
The British Embassy in Pristina said London is “fully committed” to the region and ready to play a key role in shaping its future.
