Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has wrapped up a meeting with King Felipe VI in Madrid during his two-day visit to Spain. Rama is in Spain to attend the prestigious “Espanol Universal Award” ceremony, which honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the promotion of Spanish culture and heritage worldwide.
The Prime Minister’s trip is also focused on signing an agreement for the 2027 World Law Congress, which will be held in Tirana, Albania. The event will bring together leading legal experts, judges, and academics from across the globe.
Rama praised the international recognition of Albania’s progress, sharing on social media that the event represents a “huge opportunity” to showcase Albania’s advances in democracy and rule of law.
The 2027 Congress adds to Albania’s growing list of global milestones, including hosting the NATO Summit and the European Under-21 Football Championship in the same year.
