Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared a dramatic moment on his Facebook page, showing a brief clip of him in conversation with citizens. In the video, Rama steps away from the camera, places his hands on his head, and hits a table in frustration.
Explaining the footage, Rama likened it to an earlier incident when he was mayor of Tirana, wielding an axe to chop down a street pole. He noted that critics had used that footage in an attempt to persuade Albanians not to vote for him, but they ultimately rejected the message.
He added, “I’m glad this moment made it to Instagram because it shows who is here with heart, fighting for Albania’s future. It’s not about the phone; it’s about passion for our country, for justice, for democracy, and for Europe.”
Rama boldly proclaimed that, just like before, the people would respond at the polls on May 11, rejecting the smear tactics.
