Pope Francis has given his blessing to the creation of a new Bektashi state, following a groundbreaking meeting with Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj at the Vatican.
The Pope called the initiative a “beautiful project” and expressed his full support during the historic talks.
The two also signed a key document on Human Brotherhood, strengthening the bond between the Catholic Church and the Bektashi community.
