Opposition leader Sali Berisha has announced that upcoming Democratic Party primaries will be open to Albanians living abroad, giving them a chance to influence the country’s political future.
“We’re opening primaries for all Albanians, whether they’re in Albania, the diaspora, or anywhere else,” Berisha said. He promised a transparent process, with international monitoring to ensure fair counting of overseas votes.
Berisha urged Albanian citizens abroad to use their vote proudly, stressing that their participation could help bring about much-needed change in the country.
