Former Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha has been ordered to report to authorities twice a month by the Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO).
In response, the Democratic Party has called for a protest outside the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) on Monday at 9:30 AM. The protest will be in support of Berisha, with several MPs set to join.
The party’s message urges supporters to gather, stating, “We will protest for justice, the law, and the truth, which stand with our leader, Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha.”
The protest comes amid ongoing political tensions in Albania, with Berisha’s supporters claiming the legal action is politically motivated.
