Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has arrived in Davos this Monday to participate in the 2025 World Economic Forum, which runs from January 20-23. Along with global leaders, Rama is engaging in several roundtable discussions and panel sessions, aimed at fostering a spirit of collaboration and constructive optimism to shape the next era of intelligent development in a sustainable and inclusive manner.
During his three-day stay at the forum, the Prime Minister is set to meet with fellow heads of state, business leaders, representatives of international organizations, and other influential participants. The annual meeting gathers key global figures to tackle critical regional and global challenges, such as responses to geopolitical shocks, boosting economic growth to improve living standards, and managing an inclusive energy transition.
With the mission, “We unite government, business, and civil society to improve the state of the world,” this year’s Forum brings together around 3,000 leaders from over 130 countries. Among them are 350 governmental leaders, including 60 heads of state and government. They will address major global and regional issues, with a particular focus on strengthening cooperation for a brighter future.
The 55th annual meeting is held under the theme “Cooperation for the Intelligent Era,” focusing on five interconnected pillars that are crucial for a prosperous, sustainable, and inclusive future.
