Albanian Foreign Minister Igli Hasani has wrapped up his visit to Ukraine, marking the reopening of Albania’s embassy in Kiev, which was hit by Russian missile strikes.
Hasani attended the ceremony alongside Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. The two leaders said the embassy will serve as a key link to strengthen relations and cooperation between the two countries. Despite the damage from the recent attacks, the embassy is a symbol of resilience and determination for peace.
The embassy had been badly damaged by missile strikes in late 2024, but both Albania and Ukraine are committed to continuing their efforts for stability and progress in a united Europe.
Hasani also joined the Ukraine-South Eastern Europe Ministerial, where he held talks with key Ukrainian leaders, including President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, and Deputy Prime Minister Olga Stefanishyna.
