Albania is experiencing a tourism boom, with 11.7 million foreign visitors in 2024, a 15.2% increase from last year.
Tourism Minister Mirela Kumbaro highlighted strong growth, especially from Western Europe, with countries like Italy, Germany, France, and the UK leading the way. She also noted rising interest from distant markets in Asia and the Americas.
This growth has given Albania’s economy a significant boost, with €3.8 billion in revenue generated from tourism in just the first nine months of 2024.
The country’s unique mix of culture and natural beauty continues to draw tourists, with more growth expected in 2025.
