Kosovo’s European Union ambitions were front and center as Prime Minister Albin Kurti met with the newly appointed President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, in Brussels.
Kurti reiterated Kosovo’s commitment to EU integration, highlighting the importance of cooperation. “I congratulated President Costa on his new role and offered our full support. Kosovo remains steadfast in its pursuit of EU membership,” he said.
Costa assured that the future of the Western Balkans lies within the EU. “Let’s work together to make this happen,” he added, speaking at a dinner with Western Balkans leaders.
