Oct 1, 2024 – Albanian Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku is in Berlin attending the Global Dialogue Forum, a significant event bringing together political and business leaders from around the world. During her stay, she met with German investors, who expressed growing interest in doing business in Albania.
Balluku participated in several panels, sharing successful practices in tourism and outlining the government’s efforts to attract foreign investment. “We had the opportunity to meet with German investors eager to explore opportunities in our country. I informed them about our favorable tax schemes and the incentives currently in place,” she stated.
She further reassured investors that Albania meets all necessary conditions for European Union membership, emphasizing the anticipated opening of EU accession negotiations later this month as a crucial step toward integration.
Positioning itself as an appealing destination for foreign capital, Albania is leveraging its strategic location and ongoing reforms. The discussions at the forum signal a hopeful outlook for Albania’s economic future and its aspirations within the European community. (Tir-Fax)
